Elixir Gardens 360g/l Super Concentrated Weedkiller is a great solution for your weed problems. It contains 360g/l of glyphosate, the same as most professional-grade herbicides, and is effective against grasses, docks, nettles, willow herbs, dandelion and bindweed. It comes in 1-litre bottles, which can treat up to 1666 sq/m / over 0.4 acres, making it a very cost-effective solution.
I recently purchased this product in preparation for next year’s weed invasion, following a recommendation from a former head gardener friend of mine. My experience so far has been very positive; it is easy to use, and it gets rid of the weeds, though I found that two separate doses were necessary or a stronger solution was needed.
My daughter also uses this product, which is a bonus as she can apply it knowing that it is not harmful to animals. It also works on mare’s tail and Japanese knotweed, clearing them back along the surface and down into roots. With a precision spray application, it is just about the strongest weed killer, and it’s possible to get rid of even the most stubborn of weeds.
It takes patience to wait for the product to kick in, so don’t be put off if the weed hasn’t died immediately. Give it a few days, and you will soon see a great result. In my case, even the large area of my garden has been cleared of all sorts of weeds within a couple of weeks.
